Since when did Halloween become all about cat ears, masquerade balls and bad fancy dress? Just once, we want not to be a walking Halloween cliché. Thankfully The House of Veuve Cliquot have just the answer. The legendary House have created a new annual event which will pay homage to Madame Clicquot, the woman responsible for taking her late husband’s champagne business and turning it into what it is today.
The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series is a one-night only immersive experience that aims to add a touch of glamour and cool back into Halloween. The evening will be held in the former home of Central Saint Martins ‘The College’ on Thursday 29th October.
This year’s partnership is with legendary photographer Nick Knight who will bring back the creative spirit of The College. What to expect? Haunting fashion films specially commissioned by Knight’s ground-breaking SHOWstudio, a series of curated room by the likes of taxidermist Rose Robson, Lady Amanda Harlech and fashion designer Gareth Pugh. There’ll be music from Josh Quinton (Disco Smack) and Charles Jeffrey (LOVERBOY night club) and a drinks list curated by Veuve Cliquot, of course.
Tickets are on sale for the evening here – giving you entry and a Veuve Cliquot Tasting Experience.
Hurry, tickets are selling out FAST and this is one Halloween spectacle you don’t want to miss. We’re already planning our outfits and there’s not a touch of ghoul, ghost, cat or mouse in sight.
